Mark’s niche within the firm has developed into the senior writer and researcher. He has handled various complex briefing issues, and has been asked by other attorneys to come in and assist them with appellate practice. Much of Mark’s research and writing skills were honed when he worked for Justice Franchini at the New Mexico Supreme Court after graduating law school. Mark began his legal career handling criminal cases including those involving the death penalty.
His practice has progressed to complex civil rights litigation where he has pursued numerous cases against the various jails in the region, and against numerous law enforcement agencies.
Mark was born and raised in New Mexico and is a lifelong resident with the exception of attending Haverford College in Haverford Pennsylvania. Mark received his JD from the University of New Mexico School of Law and has practiced within the state ever since.
Mark has been named as a Southwest Superlawyer, and has argued numerous appellate issues in both state and federal court. Nonetheless, perhaps his most impressive professional accomplishment is being paid to have played baseball in Mexico, Chile, and Austria. Well his baseball days may be behind him, he has transitioned to a successful legal career.
